On Saturday February 23 the Katahdin Valley Boys will be hosting the St. Albans Ole Tyme jamboree at the Town Hall in St Albans, Maine. Join us and special guests The Adrians for a night of great Bluegrass music by two of Mains top Bluegrass bands. Doors open at or before 6:30pm, show starts at 7:00pm. Admission is by donation. The St Albans Town Hall has long been the center of Bluegrass music in Maine with several shows each month.

The Katahdin Valley Boys attended the BMAM Northern jam today. We had a great time pickin with the folks there. Kip got to try out a new fiddle that he just finished building this week. Wayne got to play banjo for a while.

The Boys had the opportunity to visit and pick with Dwayne Mason at the Augusta Rehabilitation Center. Dwayne is recovering from chemo and hasn't been able to pick since last fall. He played guitar and sang a number of songs with the Boys. There was an appreciative audience of several dozen friends, family, and residents there. Best wishes to Dwayne in his recovery. We hope to be seeing him around at the festivals again next summer
